AACIS Gives $2,400 in Training Scholarships to Florida Officers

The American Animal Cruelty Investigations School (AACIS), provided the Florida Animal Control Association with training scholarships to help officers in the state attend investigations training courses.  The scholarships will allow agencies to provide additional training for their officers that may have otherwise been cost prohibitive due to budget constraints.

Each scholarship is worth $600.00.  There were two scholarships issued for cruelty investigations involving canine and feline animals and two scholarships issued for equine cruelty investigations.  The total amount of the scholarships was $2,400.00.

The scholarships were provided to the Florida Animal Control Association who presented them to the recipients as part of the 2018 Florida Animal Control Association annual training conference.  AACIS looks forward to scholarship opportunities to all state officers across the United States in 2019.
