Below are some answers to our most frequently asked questions:


Am I required to maintain CEUs for AACIS certifications?

No.  Much like a college degree, AACIS courses are structured so that CEUs are not required.  However, all AACIS courses qualify for CEU credit requirements for most states in the United States.


How far in advance should my agency schedule the course?

Ideally, we like to schedule our programs 4-6 months in advance as it gives us plenty of time to get the word out.  However, if you already have plenty of interest (i.e. 15 officers attending), then we can schedule the class within 30-45 days.


Does our agency receive a discount or free training slot in the course for hosting the event?

No.  However, by hosting the event in your city, your agency will save thousands of dollars that would otherwise be spent on travel expenses.


Are there any discounts based on the number of people that attend from our agency?

Yes. Special rates apply for agencies with five or more officers attending.  They must all work for the same agency, register, and pay at the same time.  Please contact AACIS for current details.


How do you determine the date of registration?

Registration fees are determined by the date that the monetary payment is received by AACIS.  For consistency and clarity, AACIS uses the USPS postmark date as the determining date.
